Arc News is a free news aggregation service operated by the Global Arclight Society, a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN: 39-2575582). Use it to stay informed. Don't use it to do anything illegal or harmful. We'll do our best to keep it running, but we can't guarantee uptime or accuracy.

What Arc News is

Arc News uses AI to aggregate and summarize news from publicly available sources across the internet. We don't create original reporting — our hounds find, verify, and present stories from existing sources. Always check the linked sources for full context.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• One account per person — don't create multiple accounts
• You can delete your account anytime from Settings
• We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms

Membership

• Memberships are billed monthly at $10/month through Stripe
• Cancel anytime — no questions asked, no cancellation fees
• Membership funds free public access to Arc News for everyone
• Your membership supports a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (may be tax-deductible — consult your tax advisor)

Custom hounds

Members can create custom hounds with their own search prompts. Your hound prompts must not be used to:

• Track or stalk specific individuals
• Aggregate content for disinformation campaigns
• Violate any applicable laws

We reserve the right to disable hounds that violate these guidelines.

Content & accuracy

• Stories are AI-generated summaries — they may contain errors or miss nuance
• Trust levels (firsthand, press, secondhand, hearsay) are AI assessments, not guarantees
• Always verify important information through the linked sources
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of third-party sources

Availability

We aim for high availability but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to take the service down for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. We'll try to give notice when possible.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. We'll notify registered users of significant changes via email. Continued use of Arc News after changes constitutes acceptance.
